Lubbock, TX (December 11, 2024) – 75-year-old Beatriz De Los Santos was fatally injured following a pedestrian accident on N Avenue U Tuesday morning.

The authorities responded past 7 a.m. to the fatal accident involving a Citibus on Clovis Road.

Investigators said the bus was traveling south on Avenue U but struck Beatriz De Los Santos as it crossed the railroad tracks.

The medical team rushed De Los Santos to UMC with serious injuries where she later succumbed to her injuries.
