Feather River Bridge 2-Vehicle Collision Results in Fatality
Oroville, CA (June 13, 2024) – Beatrice Higgins, 62, and James Moore Jr., 58, both of Oroville, were killed in a Highway 70 collision Tuesday.
CHP officers said the Volkswagen Higgins and Moore were riding stopped on the highway at Feather River Bridge and a Ram pickup crashed into it.
Sadly, Beatrice Higgins and James Moore Jr were declared deceased.
Investigators said Higgins and Moore were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
