Baylijo Williams Arrested in Jackson Avenue Fatal Crash [Port Orchard, WA]

Port Orchard, WA (March 8, 2024) On Tuesday evening, deputies arrested 21-year-old Baylijo Williams after a horrific crash on Jackson Avenue SE.

According to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal accident happened around 9:30 p.m. north of SE Devonshire Place.

Reports say that Williams was allegedly driving a Chevrolet Camaro that rear-ended a Toyota Sienna, forcing the vehicle to leave the roadway and crash into a tree.

Authorities say that the Toyota was carrying 4 people, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene. At the same time, the other occupants of the Toyota were rushed to the hospital with critical to serious injuries.

Meanwhile, a passenger on the Camaro was taken to the hospital, while another sustained minor injuries. Officials say that a 3rd passenger fled the scene.

Deputies say that Williams is charged with vehicular homicide-DUI and two counts of vehicular assault-DUI, after her taking a breathalyzer test and had a blood alcohol concentration of .16.

Authorities are investigating the fatal crash.
