BAY POINT, CA – One Hospitalized in Head-On Crash at Driftwood Drive and Pacifica Avenue

Early Morning 2-Vehicle Wreck on Driftwood Drive in Bay Point Injures One

 
BAY POINT, CA (December 16, 2018) – One person was hospitalized following a head-on collision early Sunday morning in Bay Point.
 
The collision happened around 4:47 a.m. at Driftwood Drive and Pacifica Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Nissan Altima and a black Ford F150 collided head-on at the intersection. The Nissan sedan then crashed into a wall and was reportedly smoking.
 
One occupant was injured and transported by ambulance to a hospital. The identity of the patient was not immediately available.
 
Both vehicles sustained front-end damage and were towed away from the wreckage.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors of the crash. Further investigation is underway.
