Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Car Crash on Birch and Agate Roads
BARSTOW, CA (March 1, 2018) – A man was struck and killed by a car on the intersection of Birch Road and Agate Road on Thursday evening.
The Barstow California Highway Patrol and paramedics arrived at the scene of the crash around 6:06 PM, to find a white male adult injured in the road, who seemed to have been hit by a vehicle.
He sustained major injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Barstow Community Hospital. The man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 7:02 PM. His identity will not be released until family members are notified of his death.
There were no details mentioned on the cause of the accident, or the vehicle involved.
