Woman Fatally Struck by Car on Intersection of Stine and Wilson Roads
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 25, 2018) – A woman was struck and killed in a pedestrian collision on Stine Road on Wednesday evening.
The collision occurred around 10:00 PM at the intersection of Stine and Wilson Roads. An unidentified woman was walking on the road outside of a crosswalk, when she was struck by a vehicle that was driving southbound on Stine. Emergency personnel arrived to the crash site and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Investigation continues by the Bakersfield Police Department, as they try and understand the events leading up to the fatal collision. No further details about the incident were immediately released.
