Bakari Mosley of Fort Bliss Killed in Magnetic Drive Collision [El Paso, TX]

Yvette Harris Involved in Volcanic Avenue Fatal Crash

El Paso, TX (March 17, 2023) – Just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, 22-year-old Bakari Mosley of Fort Bliss died in a Magnetic Drive collision.

Responding officers said the fatal crash happened at the intersection with Volcanic Avenue.

Officers said 46-year-old Yvette Harris was southbound on a Kia Sorrento at Magnetic Drive and was turning into Volcanic Avenue. Harris failed to give the right of way to Mosley who was southbound on Magnetic Drive.

As a result, Mosley rear-ended Harris’ vehicle causing him to be ejected from his motorcycle. The paramedics rushed him to a hospital where he died.

Officers said Mosley was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. 

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the Volcanic Avenue fatal crash.
