Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Oak Drive Results in Injuries [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (March 24, 2023) On Thursday morning, an auto-pedestrian crash on Oak Drive left multiple people injured.

Reports say that the traffic collision happened around 7:03 a.m. as a vehicle coming out of the Hitchcock High School parking lot and was going southbound on FM 2004.

Authorities say that the vehicle struck students that are crossing the road at Oak Drive. The vehicle that struck the students was travelling at low speed.

Officials say that the students were crossing a designated crosswalk and was well-lit. According to the Hitchcock ISD police 3 students, 2 adults and 1 minor, were transported to the hospital, their conditions are currently unknown, but their families were notified.

Meanwhile, authorities say that the driver stayed at the scene, she was dropping off her child at the high school at the time of the traffic collision.
