2 Killed in Long Beach Traffic Crash
Long Beach, CA (March 25, 2025) – Austin Patrick Fett, 28, of Lakewood, and a car passenger, were killed in a traffic collision on Woodruff Avenue Sunday night.
The fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle happened at 7:35 p.m. at the intersection with Wardlow Road.
Investigators said a 2025 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle was northbound on Woodruff Avenue. At the same time, a 2006 Toyota Highlander was turning left from southbound Woodruff Avenue to eastbound Wardlow Road. The Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle and the Toyota Highlander collided.
Troopers declared Austin Patrick Fett and a passenger in the vehicle deceased at the scene.
Moreover, the paramedics rushed the driver of the vehicle to an area hospital.
