Audi Driver Dies in Highway 50 Fiery Crash [Camino, CA]

Driver Dies, Another Injured in Camino Vehicle Crash

Camino, CA (July 22, 2021) – On Friday, an Audi driver dies and another suffers injuries in Highway 50 fiery crash.

The accident took place at around 4:50 p.m. on the eastbound lane of the freeway.

The unidentified Audi driver was about to turn onto 5 Mile Road when it went directly into the path of a westbound Dodge Ram 2500.

Afterwards, the Ram struck the right passenger side of the Audi, and the vehicle overturned.

As a result, the 32-year-old Ram driver suffered minor injuries while the vehicle sustained major front damage.

Meanwhile, the Audi driver landed in a drainage ditch and became engulfed in fire.

Unfortunately, the Audi driver died at the scene.

Investigating officers are still working on the fatal crash.
