ATWATER, CA – One Airlifted in Semi Truck Crash at White Crane Road and Applegate Road

Collision with Semi Truck on White Crane Road in Atwater Badly Injures One

 
ATWATER, CA (May 4, 2019) – At least one person was airlifted following a collision with a semi truck Saturday afternoon in Atwater.
 
The collision happened around 1:54 p.m. at the intersection of White Crane Road and Applegate Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the semi truck collided with a sedan, causing blockage on the roadway.
 
Fire crews along with paramedics arrived and found at least one patient with major injuries. The individual was then flown to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
One of the vehicles sustained a major left side damage and was towed away from the crash site.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
