At Least 9 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on La Tijera Boulevard [Westchester, CA]

Several Injured after Five-Car Crash on La Tijera Boulevard near Interstate 405

 
WESTCHESTER, CA (July 27, 2019) – At least nine people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on La Tijera Boulevard, Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 6:50 PM. Due to unknown reasons, five vehicles collided near Interstate 405. One vehicle overturned as a result of the collision.
 
Emergency responders transported a 36-year-old woman, her 7 year-old son, and her 3 year-old daughter to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Another woman also required hospitalization for medical evaluation. Meanwhile, paramedics treated six other victims at the scene with minor injuries.
 
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Investigators ask witnesses to cooperate as soon as possible. Additional information will be released to the public once it becomes available.
