1 Died in Solo-Vehicle Accident on Twin Oaks Valley Road near La Cienega Road [San Marcos, CA]

Fatality Reported in San Marcos Collision

SAN MARCOS, CA (December 10, 2018) – At least one person sustained fatal injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday, December 6.

According to Lt. Karla Menzies of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, dispatchers received a call just before 5:30 a.m. from a person reporting that a vehicle had veered off North Twin Oaks Valley Road near East La Cienega Road and crashed into a tree.

Menzies stated that at least one person was reported dead at the scene. No information regarding the victim was immediately released.

Deputies from the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station temporarily closed all northbound and southbound lanes of North Twin Oaks Valley Road between Del Roy Drive and East La Cienega Road for the on-scene crash investigation and clean-up.
