Asia Allen-Bookman Dead in Horrific Traffic Crash on South Avalon Boulevard [Compton, CA]

2 People Dead in Compton Auto Accident on South Avalon Boulevard and East Compton Boulevard

COMPTON, CA (September 6, 2023) – Wednesday morning, Asia Allen-Bookman died in a disastrous traffic crash on South Avalon Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 12:32 a.m. at South Avalon Boulevard and East Compton Boulevard.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Sean Lough, a blue PT Cruiser traveling at a high rate of speed collided with a fire truck. Also, authorities believe that the incident is a result of a street race.

As a result, two occupants of the PT Cruiser, a 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old Allen-Bookman died in the crash. Also, four fighters from the fire truck sustained minor injuries in the crash.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
