Ashkon Nima Cited for Negligent Driving after Crash on Road 5-Northwest [Quincy, WA]

5 Injured in Quincy Car Accident on Road 5-Northwest

 
QUINCY, WA (May 27, 2020) – Last Saturday, Ashkon Nima was cited for negligent driving after a head-on crash on Road 5-Northwest.
 
According to reports, 27-yea-old Ashkon Nima of Seattle was traveling west on Road 5-Northwest in a 2018 Subaru Crosstech. However, he attempted to make a southbound turn onto Road T-Northwest.
 
Then, Nima’s Subaru crashed with an approaching 2018 Nissan Altima being driven by 41-year-old Miguel Mendoza Carrion of Rock Island.
 
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the Nissan went off the road and fell down a small dirt embankment. Meanwhile, the impact of the crash pushed the Subaru around 50 feet as it spun out of control.
 

The Quincy Crash Aftermath and Investigation

 
The deputies revealed that responders transported four Nissan passengers to Quincy Valley Hospital by an ambulance.
 
34-year-old Alma Padilla Sanchez of Rock Island suffered bumps and bruises. Meanwhile, three juveniles, ages 10, 12, and 14, received treatment and were all released.
 
Moreover, Ashkon Nima and his 27-year-old passenger, Andrea Woods of Seattle, also received treatment and was released by EMS on the crash scene.
 
Furthermore, responders later transported Mendoza Carrion to Quincy Valley Hospital. After receiving treatment, he was released.
 
The officers confirmed that all the parties involved wore their seat belt during the crash. They also ruled out intoxication as a factor in the accident.
 
Meanwhile, the police cited Ashkon Nima for second-degree negligent driving.
