Michelle Yglecias Injured in FM 179 Fatal Collision
Lynn County, TX (Aug. 8, 2023) – On Sunday afternoon, Armando Yglecias, 67, of Rockwall, Joy Yglecias, 67, also of Rockwall, Albert Yglecias, 64, of Waco, and a 17-year-old girl, were killed in a Highway 380 collision.
DPS said that the fatal collision happened at 2:33 p.m. in the area of FM 179 near Brownfield.
According to the authorities, Laurel Bush, 35, of Cleburne, Texas, was driving southbound on FM 179 when she disregarded a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by Armando Yglecias.
A 17-year-old female passenger in Bush’s car was transported to Lynn County Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The paramedics rushed Bush to University Medical Center while a 1-year-old passenger was transported to Covenant Children’s Hospital for possible minor injuries.
Armando Yglecias and Joy Yglecias both succumbed to their injuries at the scene while Albert Yglecias was transported to Lynn County Hospital where he later died. Michelle Yglecias, 57, of Waco, who was also a passenger of Armando Yglecias was airlifted to University Medical Center with critical injuries.
DPS said everyone was wearing seatbelts when the collision happened.
