Fontana, CA (August 6, 2021) – On August 1, 40-year-old Ariel Rodriguez Corona, a Fontana resident, died in a traffic crash on Cherry Avenue.

The deadly incident took place at about 10:38 a.m. at the intersection with San Bernardino Avenue, in the western unincorporated area of Fontana.

Reports said Corona was a passenger of a vehicle that was involved in a crash.

Emergency responders rushed him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he died the following day at 8:21 p.m.
