1 Person Dead in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on County 375

SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 6, 2024) – Thursday morning, April Maldonado died in a tragic pedestrian crash on County 375.

The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on County 375.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a westbound F-250 veered into the shoulder of the road and struck a couple who were out on their walk.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the female pedestrian, identified as Maldonado, a mother of four, died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported the male pedestrian, identified as Jason, a San Antonio Parks Police Officer, to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the DPS continued to investigate the crash.
