COACHELLA, CA (December 11, 2019) – A 39-year-old woman died in a train crash on Grapefruit Boulevard on November 25.
 
The crash that killed 39-year-old Anya Salomon occurred at 51701 Grapefruit Boulevard near Avenue 52 at around 1:58 p.m.
 
CHP revealed that Anya Salomon got hit by the train as she walked in the area. She died at the scene
 
The California Highway Patrol said 39-year-old Anya Salomon was walking in the area when she was hit by a train.
 
The Coachella Sheriff’s Department is currently handling the investigation to identify the cause of the collision.
