Antonio Moncada Killed in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2020) – On Friday night, a pedestrian named Antonio Moncada, 64, succumbed to fatal injuries in a crash on Firestone Boulevard.
 
Moreover, the fatal accident occurred at around 7:00 p.m., the California Highway Patrol revealed. Also, they added that it happened on Firestone Boulevard and Zamora Avenue.
 
Upon the officers’ arrival, they located the unresponsive victim that was hit by the car in the middle of the street.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene. Furthermore, the authorities haven’t made any arrests.
 
Additionally, later reports stated that Moncada walked on the Firestone sidewalk into the path of the 2001 Mercedes-Benz of a 19-year-old Los Angeles man.
 
Mr. Moncada was a South Gate resident.
