35-Year-old Los Angeles Man Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Crash near Oakdale Avenue

WINNETKA, CA (October 9, 2018) – A man was killed Tuesday evening following a motorcycle accident near Oakdale Avenue. The deceased victim was later identified as 35-year-old Antonio Gomez III, a resident of Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident took place at about 8:15 PM at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Oakdale Avenue. A sedan made an unsafe left turn and struck the motorcyclist.

Gomez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, the unidentified driver of the sedan remained at the crash site and cooperated with investigators.
