Two Killed and Seven Injured in Crash Near 11 Freeway
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 4, 2019) – Antonia Pappas, 78, and Christina Rich, 80, died in a crash on Highway 95 on Wednesday.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 11 Freeway. The report showed that a Toyota Corolla failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a Nissan Sentra.
Pappas of Henderson and Rich of New York, the Corolla’s driver and lone passenger, died as a result of the crash. Five occupants of the Sentra were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to troopers.
Impairment did not appear to be a factor, but troopers continue their investigation.
