OAKLAND, CA (December 21, 2022) – Tuesday morning, an Antioch woman died in an auto accident on Grizzly Peak Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at 12:44 a.m. at the 3800 block of Grizzly Peak Boulevard. According to reports, a vehicle headed east on the road. Then, he left the road and went down an embankment.
 
When the authorities arrived, they found the 48-year-old male driver and 42-year-old female passenger, both unresponsive. Then, responders took the driver to Highland Hospital in stable condition.
 
Meanwhile, the woman succumbed to injuries.
 
At this time, the identity of the parties involved remained undisclosed. However, officials confirmed that both of them were residents of Antioch.
 
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the man on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
 
Officers suspect that alcohol played a role in the crash.
