Authorities Arrest Jaime Rodriguez in Enterprise Fatal DUI Crash
Enterprise, NV (May 6, 2023) – On Thursday, 48-year-old Anthony Prince lost his life when he was fatally struck by a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Jaime Rodriguez on South Rainbow Boulevard.
It was about 10:45 p.m. when the deadly accident unfolded near the intersection with West Windmill Lane.
According to the investigating officers, Rodriguez was driving a 2020 Chevrolet 1500 Trail Boss when he struck the victim.
Police said Rodriguez smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. He admitted to the authorities that he had been drinking at a friend’s house on Rainbow Boulevard before he drove.
The authorities arrested and booked him into Clark County Detention Center on charges of DUI and reckless driving resulting in death and possession of a gun while under the influence.
Rodriguez is held without bail and expected to appear in court Friday.
