Yuba County Collision Results in Fatality
Yuba County, CA (September 25, 2024) – Anthony Montana, 62, of Marysville, and Traci Conley, 63, were killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 70 Monday night.
It was about 11:28 p.m. when the fatal crash happened in the 8000 block area.
Troopers said Lamberto Hernandez-Barajas, a 21-year-old man from Marysville, was leaving a driveway in a Toyota Corolla.
At the same time, Anthony Montana was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle with Traci Conley as his passenger. Their motorcycle was northbound in the number two lane at an unknown speed.
Hernandez-Barajas left the driveway drove south on the highway and drove directly into the path of the Harley-Davidson.
As a result, the motorcycle crashed into the left rear door of the Toyota. Montana and Conley were thrown from the motorcycle.
Immediately, the rescuers arrived at the scene and declared Anthony Montana and Traci Conley deceased at 11:48 p.m.
Lamberto Hernandez-Barajas and his 19-year-old female passenger were not injured in the collision.
Investigators said neither alcohol nor drugs were considered to be a factor.
