2 Cars Collide Head-On in Antelope, Major Injuries Sustained

 
ANTELOPE, CA (December 9, 2018) – At least one person was seriously injured following a head-on crash Sunday evening at the intersection of Antelope Road and Watt Avenue.
 
The crash happened around 8:26 p.m. involving a red Honda sedan and a dark sedan.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but the impact caused major injuries to at least one party. The badly injured patient was taken to a hospital by paramedics in an unknown condition.
 
The crash blocked the eastbound lanes until around 9:12 p.m. while officers and crews worked on the scene.
 
An investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors.
