SEATAC, WA (November 27, 2018) – A 21-year-old woman died while three people sustained injuries, including an infant, in a collision between four vehicles along 5 Freeway on November 24.

According to reports, a northbound Honda Civic slowed down due to traffic just south of S. 188th Street. However, Anjelika Holland, the female driver of a Saturn behind it veered but still hit the Civic. Holland then crashed into the guardrail. Meanwhile, a third and fourth car hit the Saturn in the HOV lane.

Due to the force of the crash, the woman was thrown off from her vehicle and died at the scene. According to troopers, a 1-year-old baby girl inside the car was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. The occupants from the fourth car, an elderly couple, received treatment at the area after sustaining minor injuries.

Troopers reported that the deceased was not wearing a seatbelt and was driving at a high speed during the collision. The King County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Anjelika Holland of Bellevue.
