Red Bluff, CA (June 19, 2020) – On Tuesday, Angelo Lanford accidentally struck a two-year-old boy at the R Wild Horse Ranch.
The accident happened on June 16, at around 3:30 pm., on a private residence off of State Route 36 near the small town of Platina.
The 19-year-old Angelo Lanford was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado. He was backing his vehicle when the truck accidentally struck a young child.
The family rushed the child to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. He was then determined to have severe injuries.
Moreover, the medical officials said the child suffered severe bodily trauma as a result of the accident.

As always, it is best to be very cautious when driving. Take time to take look if there are people near you, as doing so can prevent dangerous accidents.
Children Are Vulnerable to Accidents
While car accidents are far more common than pedestrian accidents, there is still reason to be wary when traveling on foot. “Pedestrian accidents do not occur as much as motor vehicle accidents, but the pedestrian accidents tend to include more serious injuries,” says Tyler Toomey, a practicing attorney at Sweet Lawyers. “Some of the worst pedestrian incidents involve minors because they are sometimes hard to see and they also ride bikes, skateboards, etc. Common locations for these pedestrian incidents include shopping center entrances and street corners.”
