Angelita Henriquez Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Riverside Drive (Chino, CA)

Angelita Henriquez Struck and Killed by Pickup Truck in Chino

 
CHINO, CA (July 26, 2019) – Authorities have identified the elderly woman killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Chino as Angelita Henriquez of Chino.
 
The authorities said a pickup truck struck and killed the 74-year-old Henriquez at around 8:30 p.m. on Riverside Drive near 6th Street. She died at the scene as per the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.
 
Henriquez was crossing Riverside Drive from the south side of the street to the north when she was struck by the westbound pickup truck.
 
According to the Chino police, the 70-year-old Chino resident driving the truck immediately stopped and called 911. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
 
The officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. They closed Riverside drive for several hours during the investigation. They urge anyone with information about the crash to contact 334-3018 or email mbloch@chinopd.org.
