GARDENA, CA (August 30, 2020) – On Saturday, authorities arrested Isaiah Lono after a fatal crash on Redondo Beach Boulevard.
 
Consequently, the accident in Gardena resulted in the death of Angelica Gonzalez.
 
Moreover, according to reports, at 11:50 a.m., Isaia Lono, driving a stolen pickup, collided with a sedan.
 
Subsequently, dispatchers sent police to the incident, on Redondo Beach Boulevard and Vermont Avenue.
 
Unfortunately, the 30-year-old female occupant in the sedan died shortly after Lono attempted to escape the scene.
 
“Officers discovered the collision involved a stolen Dodge pickup truck and a Nissan Sentra,” Gardena police Lt. Christopher Cuff revealed.
 
“After the collision, the driver of the stolen pickup ran from the scene. He was later located and arrested by Gardena police officers.”
 
Also, responders transported Ms. Gonzalez to Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
 
However, she later succumbed to her injuries, the lieutenant added.
 
All the while, the authorities arrested 19-year-old Isaiah Lono of Hawthorne.
 
Furthermore, he received charges on suspicion of homicide, vehicular manslaughter, hit-and-run, and DUI.
