Vehicle Fatally Struck Angeles Palomino in Garfield Avenue and via Paseo Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash

 
Montebello, CA (July 28, 2020)– A pedestrian crash on Garfield Avenue and Via Paseo resulted in the death of Angeles Palomino on Sunday afternoon.
 
The now-deceased victim, identified as Angeles Palomino, was 22-years-old.
 
Montebello police Lt. F. Valle said the fatal crash happened on July 26 around 3:50 p.m. on Garfield Avenue and Via Paseo.
 
Palomino was in a crosswalk crossing a Montebello Street when she was hit by a passing vehicle. Valle reported that Palomino was later found lying on the road unconscious and not breathing.
 
Montebello firefighters then pronounced her dead.
 
Details about the suspect and the vehicle involved were not immediately available. Moreover, the investigation remains on-going.
