Bicyclist Andriya Shagwa Dies in Crash on 27th Avenue and Indian School in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (May 25, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, 48-year-old Andriya Shagwa died in a crash on 27th Avenue and Indian School.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened on May 25.

Phoenix Police said the vehicle was entering the roadway and the two crashed. 

It’s unclear if the bicyclist was in a crosswalk or not at the time of the collision.

EMS took Shagwa to the hospital where he later died.

Police said the car driver did not show any signs of impairment.

No other information is immediately available.
