Trooper Injured in Buckeye Auto Accident on Interstate 10 near Watson Road

BUCKEYE, AZ (April 8, 2025) – Wednesday night, Andrii Mykhailivk was arrested in an alarming traffic crash on Interstate 10 near Watson Road.

The incident happened on Interstate 10 near Watson Road.

A trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety was injured after a crash on westbound I-10 near Watson Road.

Officials say the trooper was parked on the shoulder, writing a report for a previous crash, when a white Ram 3500 towing a trailer with three vehicles left the roadway and slammed into the patrol car. The impact pushed the trooper’s vehicle roughly 60 feet.

The trooper was taken to the hospital with possible head injuries and was later released.

The driver of the Ram, identified as Mykhailivk from Brooklyn, New York, was not injured. He was arrested and booked for DUI, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and endangerment.
