Andrew Ramirez Dies in Motorcycle Crash With SUV on East Palm Canyon Drive Near Perez Road

 
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (December 18, 2018) – A 28-year-old Desert Hot Springs man died in a motorcycle crash with an SUV on East Palm Canyon Drive near Perez Road Saturday evening.
 
According to a news release, Andrew Ramirez was heading westbound on East Palm Canyon Drive when he collided with an SUV that was exiting the 7-Eleven parking lot.
 
The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene but 28-year-old Ramirez, of Desert Hot Springs, died in the wreck.
 
A follow-up investigation of the 5:45 p.m. crash is underway. Anyone who can help authorities determine what happened is encouraged to come forward.
