Winton Woman Ana Rodriguez Involved in Deadly Accident on S Ninth Street [Turlock, CA]

Turlock, CA (September 5, 2024) – Ana Rodriguez, 53, of Winton, was involved in a deadly pedestrian accident on S Ninth Street Thursday evening.

It was about 11:42 p.m. when the accident happened on the southbound lanes of Ninth Street onramp to Highway 99.

Investigators determined Rodriguez was driving a southbound 2001 Toyota pickup in the left lane when she saw a woman walking in her lane. She was unable to avoid the woman and left front of her pickup had struck the woman.

The pedestrian rested on the road and was declared deceased at the scene.

CHP officers are investigating if the woman was on drugs or intoxicated.
