Injuries Reported in Othello Pedestrian Accident on State Route 17 and Cunningham Road
OTHELLO, WA (May 14, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, Amber Lisenby sustained injuries in a crippling pedestrian accident on State Route 17.
The incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. on State Route 17 and Cunningham Road.
According to reports, a southbound vehicle collided with a female pedestrian who pulled out in front of the vehicle. Then, another vehicle struck the pedestrian who was already down the pavement.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the pedestrian, 34-year-old Lisenby, sustained minor injuries in the crash. Also, the occupants of the first vehicle, 67-year-old Bobby Cook and 64-year-old Brenda Cook, and the driver of the second vehicle, 31-year-old Dakota Burgstaler, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the pedestrian caused the crash by failure to yield the right of way.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
