ROHNERT PARK, CA (June 14, 2021) – Saturday night, two teen girls, Amada Salinas-Agular and Lorena Recendez-Martinez died in a solo-vehicle crash on Golf Course Drive.
 
According to the Rohnert Park Police, the incident happened at around 9:25 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Golf Course Drive at Roberts Lake Road.
 
Reports revealed that a 2018 Mercedes Coupe traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, it jumped a curve after failing to negotiate the curve. The vehicle then struck two street signs and hit two trees. After colliding with a traffic signal, it came to rest.
 
Furthermore, paramedics pronounced the 17-year-old female driver, Lorena, dead at the scene, Rohnert Park Deputy Chief Of Police Aaron Johnson said.
 
According to reports, the decedent lived in San Rafael.
 
Meanwhile, responders provided life-saving measures for the 16-year-old female passenger of the Mercedes. Even so, Amada Guadalupe Salinas-Agular died from her injuries, Johnson added.
 
Apparently, Ms. Salinas-Agular resided in Los Angeles prior to her death.
 
Moreover, the authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in this deadly Rohnert Park accident.
 
Meanwhile, authorities said that it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
