Alyssa Schoeneman from Hallettsville Killed in OSR Highway Collision [Bryan, TX]

Bryan, TX (March 26, 2024) – 22-year-old Alyssa Schoeneman from Hallettsville was killed following an OSR Highway collision Sunday morning.

The authorities received the crash report around 11:20 a.m. west of the intersection with Rye School Loop.

The Texas DPS officers said an eastbound car driven by 17-year-old Alan Hernandez of Bryan was passing in a no-passing zone when it struck a westbound car driven by 22-year-old Joshua Koppenol of Hallettsville.

Schoeneman was a passenger in the westbound car.

Koppenol and Hernandez were both transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are investigating.
