36-Year-Old Alyssa Loveland Injured in Deadly Crash on Fremont Avenue [Springfield, MO]

Driver Dies in Springfield 2-Vehicle Crash

Springfield, MO (March 23, 2025) – 36-year-old Alyssa Loveland of Springfield was injured in a deadly vehicle crash on Fremont Avenue Saturday afternoon.

It was around 3 p.m. when the fatal crash happened in south Springfield.

SPD officers said 37-year-old David Rodgers of Springfield was driving north on Fremont Avenue.

Suddenly, the Mustang entered the southbound lane in the 4400 block of the road and struck an SUV. 

Sadly, Rodgers was declared dead at the scene.

The other driver, Alyssa Loveland of Springfield, was rushed to a hospital.
