5 People Hospitalized in SR24 Solo-Vehicle Crash
Othello, WA (August 18, 2022) On Wednesday, 21-year-old Alyessa Hernandez and 4 teenagers were hurt in a rollover crash on Highway 24.
WSP says that the solo-vehicle crash happened on SR24 about 30 miles west of Othello at around 4 p.m.
Reports say that Hernandez was driving a 2014 Honda Accord, then failed to negotiate
Paramedics transported Hernandez and her passengers to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for immediate treatment.
Authorities identified the teens as 19-year-old Victoria Dellatorre, 19-year-old Freddy Gonzalez Rodriguez, and 16-year-old Trinidad Rodriguez Gonzalez all from Othello. Lastly, 16-year-old Elisia Reyes from Toppenish.
Moreover, officials say that none of the occupants of the Honda were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Additionally, troopers say that impairment was not a factor in the accident.
