Live Oak Fatal Traffic Collision Results in Injuries
Live Oak, CA (June 11, 2023) – On Friday, Allyson Navarro-Salazar, 21, of Gridley, and her 1-year-old baby girl, Laylanie, were killed in a Highway 90 vehicle crash.
The fatal head-on collision unfolded at the intersection with Pease Road involving a suspected DUI driver.
Officers said that before the collision, the suspect driver was involved in a collision in Live Oak and drove south on Highway 99 where they collided head-on with Navarro-Salazar. The authorities said a third vehicle rear-ended one of the cars and an occupant sustained minor injuries.
Similarly, a male passenger in Navarro-Salazar’s vehicle sustained significant injuries and was taken to UC Davis Medical Center.
Moreover, the suspect driver also incurred minor injuries.
In the meantime, officers are investigating the Highway 90 vehicle crash.
