Allen Sison Joson Dies, Another Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 37

Sonoma, CA (June 11, 2021) – On Wednesday, Vallejo motorcyclist Allen Sison Joson, 47, died in Highway 37 multi-vehicle crash.

The fatal crash happened at around 7 p.m., west of the Richard “Fresh Air” Janson Bridge over Sonoma Creek.

Officers said the motorcyclist was eastbound when he slowed down approaching a traffic backup.

That is when a 38-year-old Vallejo man driving a Chevrolet Express van rear-ended the motorcycle.

As a result, the motorcycle was knocked off the road and it slid down an embankment.

Then, the van slammed into the back of a Hyundai Sonata, which struck a Dodge Ram pickup from behind.

Afterwards, the van and the Sonata also slid down the embankment, but did not roll over.

A helicopter discovered the motorcycle rider lying in thick brush. The authorities pronounced Mr. Sison Jason dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 66-year-old female Sonata driver was taken to a hospital.

The officers are investigating the incident. They said nobody is suspected of intoxicated driving.
