DUI Driver Hurt in Renton Multi-Car Crash

 
RENTON, WA (March 8, 2019) – Police officers arrested a suspected DUI driver Wednesday who smashed into parked vehicles before the car burst into flames on 120th Lane Southeast near Southeast Petrovitsky Road.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Police officers responded to a report regarding a multi-car crash involving several parked vehicles in front of Grammercy Apartments.
 
When officers arrived, they determined that the driver left the scene; however, police officers spotted the driver a quarter mile away, where the suspect’s vehicle caught on fire.
 
According to reports, the man suffered minor injuries in the burning car crash. At this time, authorities say the driver may face charges of DUI and hit-and-run.
