OAKLAND, CA (December 10, 2020) – Wednesday morning, a pedestrian named Alfred Patrick Jr. died in a hit-and-run crash on Hegenberger Road.
 
According to authorities, the fatal accident happened at around 12:25 a.m. It occurred in the 500 block of Hegenberger Road, near the Oakland Coliseum.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck Mr. Patrick Jr. as he tried to cross the street on southbound Hegenberger.
 
The vehicle did not stop after the collision.
 
Responders pronounced the Oakland resident dead at the scene.
 
Authorities released no description of the suspect vehicle as of this moment.
