Alexander Huerta Arrested after DUI Collision on Dinuba Boulevard [Visalia, CA]

20-Year-Old DUI Driver Detained after Auto Accident near Robin Avenue in Visalia

 
Visalia, CA (April 22, 2020) – Late Saturday night, 20-year-old Alexander Huerta was arrested after a DUI collision on Dinuba Boulevard.
 
Emergency personnel first received calls around 11:40 p.m. Dispatchers arrived at the Dinuba Boulevard and Robin Avenue intersection, shortly after.
 
California Highway Patrol say Huerta was heading north in his Volkswagen Jetta when he struck a Chevrolet Suburban.
 
The impact left Huerta and his two other passengers seriously injured. Paramedics later rushed the three victims to the Kaweah Delta Medical Center for further treatment. However, their current condition has not been updated.
 
Moreover, the driver of the Chevrolet did not require hospitalization and was treated on scene.
 
Furthermore, Alexander Huerta was later arrested for driving under the influence.
 
The surrounding area on Dinuba Boulevard was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
