FRESNO, CA (February 28, 2021) – Early Saturday, Alex Valles, 38, died in a bicycle crash on Weber Avenue and Floradora Avenue in Central Fresno.
 
The crash between a vehicle and a bicyclist occurred at about 2:55 a.m. It happened on Weber Avenue and Floradora Avenue, east of Golden State Boulevard and Highway 99.
 
Fresno Police Lt. Richard Tucker revealed that the Fresno bicyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene.
 
Moreover, the initial investigation revealed that a southbound pickup truck hit the man on Weber Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, Tucker revealed that alcohol and drugs didn’t play a role in the crash. Moreover, the driver of the pickup stayed at the scene and wasn’t detained.
