34-Year-Old Alex Jones Hospitalized in DUI Crash on Interstate 90

 
Spokane, WA (March 13, 2021) – On Friday, 34-year-old Alex Jones and 35-year-old Steven Lassiter of Medical Lake were injured in a solo vehicle crash on Interstate 90.
 
The accident took place at about 2:40 a.m. west of State Highway 2.
 
Lassiter was driving west on the highway when his 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee left the road and struck a dirt bank. As a result, the SUV rolled.
 
Right away, rescuers took Lassiter to Deaconess Hospital.
 
Meanwhile, officers said Lassiter will face a vehicular assault charge because he is a suspect of driving under the influence.
 
His passenger, Jones, was also injured and transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. Reports said Jones was listed in satisfactory condition Friday evening.
 
Officers said Jones was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Also, it was unclear if Lassiter was wearing a seat belt.
