Houston, TX (February 24, 2023) On Thursday evening, a man in his 20s sustained fatal injuries in a auto-pedestrian accident on Aldine Westfield Road.

Authorities say that the fatal pedestrian crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. on the 10200 block of Aldine Westfield Road.

Reports say that male pedestrian was on a sidewalk attempting to get onto a bicycle. However, the Hispanic man fell over and landed on the road.

Consequently a westbound truck puling a trailer fatally struck the prone pedestrian.
