Alberto Velasquez III Arrested after Las Vegas Multi-Vehicle Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 17, 2019) – Two people got arrested after causing a fiery multi-vehicle accident on Harmon Avenue.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle near Harmon Avenue and Boulder Highway at about 7:00 p.m.
However, the vehicle escaped and traveled at a high speed on Boulder Highway and hit two trucks. After hitting the second truck, both vehicles caught fire.
Responders arrested the two suspects and took them to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. However, jail records revealed one of the suspects as 27-year-old Alberto Velasquez III, with charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving.
Meanwhile, authorities found out that the involved vehicle was reported stolen. Police did not release any additional information at this time.
