2 Detained for Theft in Santa Clarita Accident near Copper Hill Drive

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 2, 2021) – Friday, police arrested Alberto Castaneda and Jonathan Stahl for a crash on Copper Hill Drive.
 
According to Los Angeles County Fire Department, the rollover crash happened at around 10:30 p.m.
 
Moreover, it occurred by the intersection of Copper Hill Drive and Deer Springs Drive in Saugus.
 
Also, reports revealed that two vehicles struck a streetlight and took it out, said Dispatch Supervisor Bernard Peters.
 
Meanwhile, responding firefighters extricated a trapped passenger from an overturned vehicle.
 
Deputies from Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrested the driver and the passenger of the vehicle for theft after numerous copper wires.
 
Authorities believed that the allegedly stolen wires were found in their vehicle. This information came from Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.
 
Subsequently, 27-year-old Alberto Castaneda of Canyon Country and 42-year-old Jonathan Stahl of Saugus were both arrested for grand theft. Eventually, they were later released with a citation.
